Ukrainian Business Day – Celebrating 4 Years of Business Woman PRO Canada!

On February 17, 2021, Business Woman PRO Canada was officially registered. Today, we celebrate and reflect on how we marked our 4th anniversary on February 9, 2025.

Traditionally, for our anniversary, we host Ukrainian Business Day. This year, it was a day full of inspiration, new connections, deep discussions, and outstanding presentations.

Distinguished Guests & Recognition

We were honoured to welcome Chris Fonseca, Councillor of Mississauga, who has been a strong supporter of our organization for three years. She first attended our anniversary event three years ago and was truly impressed by all the work we do. This year, Business Woman PRO Canada once again received special recognition from the City of Mississauga for our significant contribution to the business community. This award reaffirms our mission, and we are proud to play a key role in supporting businesses in Canada.

We were also delighted to receive high praise from Olga Vovnych, an executive member of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress - Ontario Provincial Council. Our organization has been an integral part of this council for a long time, working to support and promote Ukrainian businesses.

Additionally, we were honoured to receive video greetings from the Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, Yuliya Kovaliv, and the President of the Business Woman Club, Hanna Krysiuk.

The event kicked off with powerful panel discussions, where entrepreneurs, financial experts, and community leaders tackled key topics relevant to Ukrainian businesses in Canada:

🔹 Adapting Businesses to the Canadian Market – Business owners shared their experiences in entering the local market, overcoming challenges, and seizing opportunities.🔹 Financial Support & Funding – Financial institution representatives presented programs available for Ukrainian entrepreneurs who have established or are looking to grow their businesses in Canada.🔹 The Role of Women in Business – Inspiring conversations about the achievements of Ukrainian women in entrepreneurship, leadership, and their contributions to the economic development of the community.

Networking & Business Showcase

Beyond knowledge exchange, participants had a unique opportunity to network, establish new connections, and find potential partners for future business ventures.

This year, we were honoured to showcase a diverse range of Ukrainian businesses operating across various industries.

Each entrepreneur had the opportunity to present their business, share their success stories, and connect with potential clients and partners.
