Business Woman PRO Canada sincerely congratulates Nadiya Yashan, Director of the Business Woman magazine representation in Canada and President of Business Woman PRO Canada,on her appointment as an Advisor to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.


A Historic Step for the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine


For the first time in history, the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine has created an international network of advisors in 20 countries around the world.This landmark initiative aims to strengthen coordination and protection of the rights of Ukrainians living abroad and to enhance communication between Ukrainian communities and government institutions.

This new structure represents a significant commitment to ensuring that every Ukrainian—regardless of where they reside—has access to assistance, representation, and the ability to raise their voice when human rights are at stake.


Recognition of Leadership and Community Engagement


This appointment is a recognition of Nadiya Yashan’s long-standing public and professional activity—both in Ukraine and in Canada.With a degree in law and extensive experience in culture, communications, and community initiatives, Nadiya has consistently demonstrated leadership and dedication to strengthening Ukrainian communities abroad.

Through her work in media, public engagement, and advocacy, she continues her mission to support Ukrainians around the world, foster community development, and uphold human rights.


Acknowledging the Global Impact of Business Woman Magazine


At the same time, this appointment serves as recognition of the wide-reaching work of Business Woman magazine, which today has more than 30 representations across the globe.The network’s directors and coordinators—many of whom are influential women leaders—actively work to empower communities, promote dialogue, and highlight the success stories of Ukrainians worldwide.


It also underscores that the contributions of women who lead, support, and inspire their communities are valued and recognized at the national level in Ukraine.
