This past weekend, the Business Woman PRO Canada team visited London, Ontario, where they hosted a meeting with women entrepreneurs as well as women who are considering starting their own businesses.
London became another important city where the organization continues to expand its presence and connect with active members of the Ukrainian community.
During the event, Business Woman PRO Canada President Nadiya Yashan presented the organization's activities, shared information about its projects, forums, educational initiatives, and future plans. Special attention was given to opportunities for collaboration and the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Canada.
Participants also had the opportunity to explore the latest issue of Business Woman Magazine, whose Canadian representation has been operating successfully for six years. Nadiya Yashan shared the story behind the establishment of both the Canadian representation of the magazine and the organization, while highlighting their international activities, which now connect women leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals across dozens of countries worldwide.
The World Book of Records was also presented during the event and generated significant interest among attendees.
The meeting took place at Hutsul Coffee Factory, a Ukrainian family-owned business that has become a cultural gathering place for both Ukrainians and Canadians in London. The café is known not only for its exceptional coffee but also for promoting Ukrainian culture and history. Visitors can learn about prominent Ukrainians such as Solomiya Krushelnytska, Lesya Ukrainka, Olena Pchilka, Ivan Franko, Taras Shevchenko, and many other historical figures who have made important contributions to world culture and history.
The café owner, Yulia, together with her family, has built a successful business by offering high-quality coffee sourced from different regions of the world and professionally roasted to bring out the unique character of each variety. In addition to freshly prepared beverages, customers can purchase whole bean or ground coffee for home brewing.
Business Woman PRO Canada would like to express sincere gratitude to Yulia and the Hutsul Coffee Factory team for their warm hospitality and generous welcome.
Meetings like this are an important part of the organization's mission. They provide opportunities to connect with active women in different Canadian cities, build new partnerships, and identify individuals interested in helping bring future projects to life.
Perhaps London will become one of the next cities to host a major Business Woman PRO Canada Forum.
We sincerely thank all participants for their engaging conversations, new ideas, and commitment to building a strong community of women in business across Canada.
