Rising Legal Leader and Advocate for Community Empowerment

Solomiya is a litigation lawyer at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, one of Canada’s leading law firms. She works on complex cross-jurisdictional disputes, including high-profile cases involving global mining, technology, and sanctions matters.

Despite her young age, Solomiya has already achieved remarkable success in the legal field. A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, she co-founded both the Ukrainian Law Students Association and the Securities Law Association. She served as President of the Mooting Society and earned national recognition as the first-place winner of the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot. Her leadership and service were honoured with the prestigious Dean’s Gold Key Award.

At the Forum, Solomiya will share insights into professional advocacy, building a legal career in Canada, and navigating the path of a young Ukrainian woman in the legal industry. Her experience reflects a powerful combination of talent, vision, and dedication to public engagement and mentorship.
