A Voice of Culture, Identity & Leadership

Oksana Schorlemmer is a cultural entrepreneur, designer, NGO founder, and public leader whose work stands at the intersection of business, cultural identity, and social mission.

Since August 2024, she has been working at the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs in Germany, focusing on Ukraine-related initiatives. In parallel, she actively supports Ukrainian diaspora communities in Germany and across Europe.

With 23 years lived in Ukraine (Lutsk, Volyn) and 23 years in Germany, Oksana bridges two cultures — a personal journey that deeply informs her leadership, activism, and creative work.

Community & Humanitarian Impact

In 2023, Oksana founded the German-Ukrainian NGO Nord Haus UA e.V., supporting refugees and organizing major humanitarian aid missions to Ukraine.

When Russia launched its full-scale invasion, Oksana dedicated herself to tireless work — meeting displaced women and children at the border, organizing logistics, and coordinating the delivery of hundreds of tons of aid.

Mamyna Sorochka — Fashion with Soul

During that difficult time, a personal project was born — a blouse collection titled “Mamyna Sorochka” (Mother’s Blouse), inspired by the emotional poetry of her mother, Maryana Hrytsunyak.

To Oksana, her mother’s verses — written long before the war — offered comfort, strength, and a deep connection to home. She realized that what war threatens is not only buildings and landscapes, but our cultural identity — our stories, language, and family traditions.

One day, she wrote the first lines of her mother’s poetry on a simple white blouse.

That moment gave life to Mamyna Sorochka —
a wearable symbol of love, memory, and cultural resistance.
A tribute to mothers. A tribute to Ukraine.

A World Record & Global Recognition

On December 6, 2025, Oksana’s collection set a new world record in Hamburg, Germany —
the largest ethnic fashion show ever held in the country.

In just five minutes, 100 models walked the runway wearing embroidered blouses featuring poetry in three languages, paired with handcrafted jewelry from the Zarmilkas brand by Liudmyla Shanska.

This milestone was officially recognized by the World Record Book, represented by CEO Hanna Krysiuk, who presented the award alongside Ukrainian officials and international dignitaries.

The event became a powerful statement of unity, identity, and cultural pride.

Social Mission

A portion of the proceeds from the Mamyna Sorochka collection will fund the creation of a special line in 2026 for Ukrainian women in the military —
featuring embroidery, handmade accessories, and poetry dedicated to defenders, survivors of captivity, and women serving on the front lines.
